I freely admit that I'm normally quite methodical and formulaic with my lighting setups. I like what I like, and tend to stick with what works. But using this light has been incredibly freeing and encouraged me to push well past my comfort zone.

The Mint Low Profile Switches on the Luma100 strike what I believe to be the perfect middle ground between Epomaker's Creamy Jade switches and their Sea Salt Silent V2 switches.

Those other flashes are certainly going to be more powerful, but the actual look of the image they produce is arguably inferior to the Vintage Z1 Pro.

It's a tall order to be sure. But with the release of the Epomaker RT100 Pro, I may have found the most elegant mechanical keyboard that I've had the pleasure of using to date.

My version includes the Sea Salt Silent V2 Switches which I've become a huge fan of due to their muted nature. These particular switches exude a distinctly quiet typing experience while still retaining the gratifying physical responsiveness of what makes mechanical keyboards so lovely to use.

For example, if I were to shoot a commercial job on film (as rare as that might be these days), I would choose T-Max 400 almost every time because it offers a distinctly cleaner aesthetic while still maintaining the highly sought after film look.

It's a compelling choice for the same reasons that people choose to read physical books, shoot film with a Leica rangefinder, or drive a manual transmission vehicle. It won't necessarily get you to your destination any faster, but the journey is so much more enjoyable.
